Pierre Curie 1859/1906 et Marie Curie 1867/1934 physiciens français, ils obtiennent avec Henri Becquerel le prix Nobel de Chimie pour la découvert du radium et du polonium, c'est la première fois qu'une femme obtient un tel prix, Pierre Curie meurt en 1906 renversé par une voiture à cheval, Marie Curie obtient pour la deuxième fois le prix Nobel en 1911 pour ses travaux sur le Radium, cela ne s'était jamais produit, elle meurt en 1934, victime des radiations, les cendres de Pierre et Marie Curie sont transférées au Panthéon, le 20 avril 1995.
